Spent most of the season at Triple-A Memphis and had two stints with St. Louis. First recalled to St. Louis on 5/18-6/21. Made his first career start on 5/22 vs.SD. Recalled for a second time on 9/4 until the end of the season. Had a season high hit-streak of three games from 6/3-5 (4-9, .444, 3B, 3 RBI), in two starts (6/3-4) and AB off the bench. Made eight starts for St. Louis, six in CF and one each in LF and RF. Went 2-for-13 for STL as a pinch hitter. Had his first career MLB stolen base 9/22 at CHI as pinch runner in the 9th. Also stole a base in his start 10/3 vs. CIN. At Memphis batted .319 with 3 HR and 44 RBI in 96 games. Had 30 multi-hit games, batted .413 with RISP and tied for Memphis' team lead with 51 walks. His 114 hits were 3rd-most on the team. Hit .306 vs. LHP and .324 vs. RHP while at Memphis.
