Nasim Emmanuel Nunez...Graduated from Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Ga...Committed to Clemson University before signing with the Marlins following the 2019 First-Year Player Draft...Began journaling in 2022 when Miami Minor League operations employees Hector Crespo and Colleen Mitchell gave journals to the players to prioritize their mental health and stay focused during the season.

2023

Was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2023 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game as well as an Arizona Fall League Fall Star...Led the Southern League and ranked tied for third in all of Double-A with 52 stolen bases and was fourth with 87 walks in 125 games with Double-A Pensacola...Also ranked among Southern League hitters in runs (T1st, 84), walks (third, 87) and hits (10th, 110)...Finished the season batting .224 with 11 doubles, two triples, five homers, 43, RBI, 87 walks, 52 stolen bases and 84 runs scored...He appeared in 95 games at shortstop, 29 games at second base and two games as the designated hitter.

2022

Nasim Nunez, ranked as Miami’s No. 23 prospect by MLB Pipeline, finished 2022 with a combined 70 stolen bases, tied for third-most in the Minors and three short of the all-time Marlins Minor League record... In 85 games with High-A Beloit, posted a .390 on-base pct. and drew 71 walks. Hit 11 doubles, three triples, two home runs and had 49 stolen bases... Earned promotion to Double-A Pensacola where he played 38 games to finish the year and hit .261 with a .371 on-base pct... Named the Beloit Sky Carp 2022 Most Valuable Player and earned MiLB.com Organizational All-Star honors.

Selected by the Marlins in second round of the 2019 Draft out of Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, GA...Played in 51 games between the Gulf Coast League Marlins and Batavia Muckdogs...Played in 48 games for the GCL Marlins. Hit .211 with five doubles, a triple and 12 RBI. Went 28-for-30 in stolen base attempts...Finished the season with the Short-Season A Batavia Muckdogs. Played in three games going 0x10.
