Missed 2019-20 due to Tommy John surgery Married to Kyla Penrod, and the couple have a daughter, Noa Mae. Originally signed by the Texas Rangers as a non-drafted free agent in August 2018 Pitched in college for Corban University (2017) and Northwest Nazarene (2018), both NAIA schools. Attended Fenway Fest in January 2025, signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans.

Made his MLB debut, splitting the season with Double-A Portland (7 GS), Triple-A Worcester (15 G/5 GS), and BOS (7 G). 6 of his 7 MLB outings were scoreless, including each of his first five...For BOS, allowed just three hits to 20 batters faced... Left-handed hitters were 0-for-8 against him (2 BB , 3 SO). Allowed 0 barrels and only one XBH (double) for BOS. In the Minors, went 8-2 with 13.36 SO/9.0 IP, a 4.16 ERA (29 ER/62.2 IP), 1.31 WHIP and .214 opponent AVG...Held righties to a .191 AVG/.582 OPS (1 HR) and lefties to a .260 AVG/.797 OPS (4 HR). Ranked sixth in the Minors in SO/9.0 IP (min. 60.0 IP).
