Began the season at Single-A Stockton and was batting .229 with 20 RBI in 66 games when he was promoted to Double-A Midland on July 17…hit .244 with 11 RBI in 44 games with the RockHounds…combined for a .235 batting average, no home runs and 31 RBI in 110 game overall…had career highs in triples (4) and strikeouts (114) and matched his best in games played…tied for sixth in the A’s farm system in stolen bases (16)…hit .263 against left-handed pitchers compared to .228 against right-handers…started 64 games in center field (including all 44 of his starts with Midland), 29 in right field, eight in left field, four at designated hitter and one at third base…also pitched once…committed two errors (one in center field, one in right field)…saw his most playing time with 61 games batting ninth but hit in every spot in the order except fifth…was named California League Player of the Week for the week of June 3-9…went 10-for-18 (.556) with five runs, three doubles, two triples, three RBI and two walks in five games… was 4-for-4 with a career-high two doubles June 8 against San Jose…also tripled and scored three runs…made his first career appearance as a pitcher on July 6 against Modesto (1.0 ip, 1 so)…had his second four-hit game of the season July 10 at Lancaster and hit safely in each of his final six contests with Stockton from July 10-15 (10-for-24, .417)…was promoted to Midland July 17 and hit .169 over his first 24 games through Aug. 11…then batted .329 over his final 20 contests…had a season-best 10-game hitting streak from Aug. 20-30 (13-for-34, .382)…went 1-for-13 (.077) with four walks and three runs scored in four postseason games for Midland.

Spent his first full professional season at Single-A Beloit where he hit .284 with two home runs and 25 RBI in 110 games…was a perfect 22-for-22 in stolen base attempts…had career highs in hits (111), stolen bases, sacrifice hits (7), games and at bats (391)…tied for sixth in the A’s farm system in stolen bases and ranked eighth in batting…batted .296 (89-for-301) with both of his home runs against right-handed pitchers compared to .244 (22-for-90) against left-handers…hit .346 in 53 games at home but connected for both of his home runs in 57 games on the road… stole 18 of his 22 bases in away games…started 47 games in right field, 25 in center field, 18 at third base, 12 at designated hitter and two in left field…also appeared in one game at second base…committed four errors as a third baseman and one as a right fielder…had 10 outfield assists…hit leadoff 41 times…went 4-for-6 on April 25 against Peoria, giving him a .405 batting average over his first 11 games…ended up hitting .379 in 15 games in April…stole a career-high four bases in the second game of a May 15 doubleheader at Wisconsin…had a season-best nine-game hitting streak from July 3-14 (14-for-33, .424)…was briefly transferred to Midland on Aug. 6 but was sent back to Beloit on Aug. 8 without appearing in a game…went 1-for-7 (.143) in two postseason games for the Snappers.

Made his professional debut with the A’s affiliate in the Arizona Rookie League and was hitting .278 with two home runs and nine RBI in 20 games when he was transferred to Short-Season Vermont on July 28…hit .130 in 16 games with the Lake Monsters and batted .214 with two home runs and 15 RBI in 36 games overall…was 9-for-11 (81.8%) in stolen base attempts…hit .250 against left-handed pitchers, .200 against right-handers…started 22 games in center field, eight in right field and one at designated hitter…went 4-for-5 with a triple, home run, three RBI, a stolen base and a career-high four runs scored in his debut on June 25 against Cubs…hit .303 with two home runs and nine RBI over his first 16 games…was 0-for-1 in two postseason games for Vermont.
