De Los Santos, 25, split the 2021 season between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, posting a Major League ERA of 6.37 over 33 relief appearances (35.1IP, 43H, 25ER, 18BB, 48SO, 12.2 SO/9 IP)…The San Pedro de Macoris native made his ML debut with the Phillies in 2018 after going 10-5 with a 2.63 ERA in 22 starts at Triple-A Lehigh Valley (126.2IP, 104H, 37ER, 110SO), starting the International League All-Star Game and participating in the SiriusXM Futures Game in Washington D.C. on his way to postseason Triple-A All-Star honors (Baseball America)…He spent five 2021 stints with the Phillies before being claimed on waivers by the Pirates on Sept. 13, spending the rest of the season with Pittsburgh...His first stint came May 4-13 after going to ML ST camp as a non-roster invitee... Longest stint with Philly came Aug. 2-23...Allowed just three hits in 13 .1 innings at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, limiting hitters to a .073 average against with 24 SO (16.2 SO/9)…He posted a 0.69 ERA for Licey in the Dominican winter league after the season (13.0IP, 6H, 3BB, 18SO, .140 avg).

Spent majority of the season with Lehigh Valley (AAA)..Was named International League Pitcher of the Week, 4/4-14...Struck out a professional-high 10 batters on 4/6 vs. Rochester in his season debut...Appeared in five games (1 start) over four stints with PHI (4/24-5/5, 5/17-28, 6/23-24, 9/28-end of season).

Began season with Lehigh Valley (AAA)...Was named to the World Team in the All-Star Futures Game and elected as the starter for the International League in the Triple-A All-Star Game... Finished 2nd in the IL in ERA (2.63), T-2nd in WHIP (1.16) and 3rd in OPP AVG (.226)...Selected as Phillies Minor League Co-Pitcher of the Month for April...
