Hit .298 (51-for-171) with 9 HR and a .919 OPS in 46 games with Short-A Lowell (5 G), Double-A Portland (33 G), and Triple-A Pawtucket (8 G). Hit .303 with a .951 OPS against RHP (40-for-132, 8 HR), and .282 with an .814 OPS vs. LHP (11-for-39, 1 HR). Started 26 games at 3B, 11 at 1B, and 9 at DH. Recorded a career-best 16-game hitting streak between Portland and Pawtucket from 8/12-27. Began the season with Lowell and posted a .476 OBP with the club. In his final game with the Spinners on 7/9, went 3-for-4 with 2 2B and a HR...Transferred to Portland the following day. Named Eastern League Player of the Week for 8/6-12... In 6 games that week, went 14-for-25 (.560) with 2 2B, 2 HR, and 6 RBI...In a 3-game series at Erie, went 4-for-4 on 8/7, 3-for-5 on 8/8, and 2-for-5 with 2 HR on 8/9. Hit safely in each of his final 12 games with Portland from 8/12-23, going 14-for-44 (.318) in that time. Transferred to Pawtucket on 8/24 and went 9-for-17 (.529) in his first 4 games with the PawSox...Each of his first 5 Triple-A hits went for extra bases (3 2B, 2 HR). Named the Red Sox' 2017 Minor League Offensive Player of the Year after hitting .282 (133-for-471) with 31 HR and 94 RBI between High-A Salem and Double-A Portland...Also named a Carolina League mid-season All-Star, a Baseball America High-A All-Star, and an Arizona Fall League Rising Star. Led BOS minor leaguers in HR (tied, 31), RBI (94), runs (89), doubles (tied, 35), and XBH (68)...Among all minor leaguers, ranked 3rd in XBH, T-5th in HR, and 11th in RBI. Posted a .916 OPS vs. RHP (102-for-355, 24 2B, 24 HR). Tabbed CL Player of the Week for the periods of 4/17-23 (10-for-20, 5 HR) and 5/22-28 (12-for-26, 2 HR).
