Opened season with Triple-A Worcester and batted .180 (18/180) with seven extra-base hits and 13 RBI over first 30 games before being promoted... Contract selected by Red Sox on June 22; made season debut June 24 at White Sox as a defensive replacement... Filled in behind the plate for four games before being outrighted to Triple-A Worcester on July 9, where he finished the season.
2022
Made his MLB debut, appearing in 22 games over two stints with the Twins...Made three starts at catcher and one at 1B. Spent most of the season with Triple-A St. Paul, hitting 11 HR with 43 RBI and an .809 OPS in 62 games...Made 29 starts at catcher, 18 at DH and 11 at 3B...Also played 6.0 innings at 1B. Had two HR and five RBI on 6/5 at Iowa. In eight July games with St. Paul, hit .310 with three HR and a 1.187 OPS (9-for-29, five 2B, nine RBI). Selected to the ML roster on 7/15 and played in three games with the Twins. Optioned to St. Paul on 8/3...Homered in his first game back with the club (8/4 at Omaha). Recalled by MIN on 8/23 and spent the remainder of the season with the Twins. Recorded his lone MLB hit of the season on 9/25 vs. LAA, a two-out solo HR off Jose Quijada in the 8th inning, cutting the Twins’ deficit to 5-3. Claimed by BOS off waivers on 10/11...Designated for assignment on 11/15 and outrighted to Triple-A Worcester on 11/18.

Was in Twins major league spring training as a non-roster invitee...batted .200 (2-for-10) with one home run, one RBI, two walks and three runs scored in 12 games... Assigned to Double-A Wichita to start the season and spent the majority of the campaign with the Wind Surge... Matched his single-game career-high with three hits in his first game, going 3-for-4 with two doubles on May 6 at Springfield... Recorded his second career multi-homer game on June 5 vs. Arkansas, going 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI...his other such effort occurred on June 28, 2018 at Tampa (3-for-4, 2B, 5 RBI)... Promoted to Triple-A St. Paul on Sept. 3 and finished the season with the Saints... Overall, batted .181 (42-for-232) with eight doubles, one triple, nine home runs, 31 RBI, 43 walks and 25 runs scored in 78 games between the Wind Surge (67 games) and the Saints (11 games).

Split the season between Double-A Pensacola and Triple-A Rochester, hitting .224 (75-for-335) with 45 runs scored, 17 doubles, seven home runs, 42 RBI and 40 walks in 99 games...named a Southern League Midseason All-Star with Pensacola...recorded exactly 42 RBI for third straight season...hit .276 (27-for-98) vs. left-handed pitching and .203 (48-for-237) vs. right-handed pitching...at both stops combined, played 49 games (45 starts) at catcher, 41 games (40 starts) at third base and six (all starts) at first base.

Spent entire season with Single-A Ft. Myers...named Twins minor league Player of the Week June 30, hitting .375 (5-for-16) with two doubles, three home runs, eight RBI, three walks and five runs scored in five games for Ft. Myers...matched his career high with five RBI on June 28 at Tampa.

Spent second professional season with Single-A Cedar Rapids, played in 92 games, hitting .221 (68-for-307) with 18 doubles, nine home runs, 42 RBI and a career-high 54 walks; also posted a .342 on-base percentage...led the Kernels in walks...played 40 games (39 starts) at catcher, 22 games (21 starts) at third base, 12 games (all starts) in leftfield, 12 games (9 starts) at first base and four games (all starts) at second base.
