Is 21-20 with a 2.93 ERA (147 ER?451.2 IP) over 338 career minor league appearances (two starts)... Was named the Brewers Unsung Hero in 2020 as voted on by members of the Milwaukee Chapter of the BBWAA after posting a 1.54 ERA (4 ER/23.1 IP) in the abbreviated 60-game season... Was claimed by Milwaukee off waivers from San Diego, Nov. 15, 2019... Made his major league debut with San Diego in 2019, going 0-1 with a 2.31 ERA (3 ER/11.2 IP) over 10 appearances... Pitched for seven seasons in the Padres organization after signing originally signing with the club as a non-drafted free agent, July 21, 2013... After going undrafted in 2013, was going to pursue his master's degree, but drove 20 hours to pitch in the independent Pecos League... While playing for the Taos Blizzard, the team folded ... went on to pitch for the Trinidad Triggers before signing with San Diego as a non-drafted free agent... Graduated from Seattle University with a degree in humanities for teaching and a minor in math ... was inducted into Seattle University's Hall of Fame, March 2019... Between his sophomore and junior seasons, transitioned to pitching sidearm, at the suggestion of his college coach, Donny Harrel... Attended Richland (Wash.) High School, where he was a two-sport athlete in basketball and baseball.

2021

Split the 2021 season between Milwaukee and Triple-A Nashville, appearing in 17 games for the Brewers and 39 for Nashville... Was limited due to an injured list stint from May 1-25 with a right shoulder strain... With Nashville, finished the season with a 2.33 ERA (5 ER/19.1 IP) over his last 21 outings... Held right-handed hitters to a .220 average (18-for-82).

2020

Split the season between El Paso (AAA) and San Antonio (AA), making 48 appearances with a 5-4 record and a 4.13 ERA...Went 10 straight appearances (all with SA) without giving up a single run (4/25-5/18)...Among all SA pitchers who also did not start a game, his 39.1 IP ranked second behind Jason Jester's 60.1 IP...On the road with ELP, owned a perfect 0.00 ERA in seven appearances and 10.1 IP and a .147 opponent clip...at home with ELP, had a 10.32 ERA (13 ER, 11.1 IP) with a .385 opponent AVG...On the road with SA, he owned a 5.30 ERA (11 ER, 18.2 IP) with a .333 opponent clip...at home with SA, had a 1.74 ERA (5 ER, 20.2 IP) and a .214 opponent average...Made 14 relief appearances for the Gigantes in the Dominican Winter League, posting a 3.38 ERA with seven SO.
