Graduated from Eunice (LA) High School, where he was a Louisville Slugger All-American in 2009...from 2008-2010 was All-District and All-State...lettered for 3 seasons in football and was All-District in 2009...attended junior college at LSU-Eunice, where he was named Easton Defensive Player of the Year, Rawlings Gold Glove Award winner and Academic All-American with a 4.0 GPA...transferred to the University of Mississippi for the 2013 season and was a Louisville Slugger/CollegeBaseballInsider.com first-team All-American (62g, .374, 15 2B, 5 HR, 51 RBI).
