Township High School, 90 miles west of Chicago…as a senior, was named to the Illinois Coaches Association Class 3A All-State Team and New Tribune All-Area Team…in football, set a school record, rushing for 352 yards and five touchdowns on nine carriers in August 2012.

In 31 games for the Cubs in 2022, hit .115 (7-for-61) with seven runs, two doubles, four RBI, seven BB and one SB…was placed on the 10-day injured list on 5/8 and transferred to the 60-day injured list on 6/30 with a left quadriceps strain…in 10 rehab assignment games with Rookie-level AZL Cubs and Triple-A Iowa, hit .324 (11-for-34) with nine runs, three doubles, one triple, one HR, three RBI, four BB and three SB…was activated off the injured list on 9/6 and designated for assignment on 9/27.
2021
Was limited to 16 games in his first season with the Cubs in 2021, ending the season on the injured list with a strained left forearm... Hit .286 (4-for-14) vs. left-handed pitchers and .357 (5-for-14) out of the leadoff spot... Had his contract selected Aug. 17 and hit his second career major league homer in his first start Aug. 18 in Cincinnati... Homered and recorded a career-high three hits and three RBI on Sept. 3 vs. Pittsburgh... Hit .306 (45-for-147) with 10 doubles, one triple, 10 home runs and 29 RBI in 43 games for Triple-A Iowa... Was named the Cubs minor league Player of the Month for June after hitting .324 (24-for-74) with five doubles, four home runs and 15 RBI in 22 games during the month.

Was on the Angels Opening Day roster and played seven games before he was optioned to the team's Alternate Site, July 23...was designated for assignment, Aug. 23 and outrighted, Aug. 28.
