Graduated from Cypress Woods High School in Cypress, TX...played at Texas A&M...in 2015 pitched for Team USA's collegiate national team...in a 2-0 USA victory on 7/1/15 in Cary, NC combined with Missouri’s Tanner Houck (4ip) and Florida’s A.J. Puk (4ip) to no-hit the Cuban national team...was the first time Cuba ever had been held hitless in an international game...father Matt played at San Jacinto Junior College.

2020

Spent the summer at the alternate training site as part of the Reds' 60-player pool...Entered the season rated by MLB.com the 28th-best prospect in the organization.

2019

Missed most of the season with a right elbow strain...Combined to finish 4-0, 1.85 in 2 starts and 18 relief apps for Class AA Chattanooga and rookie AZL Reds...Was the organization's Minor League Pitcher of the Month for April (8g, 3-0, 0.00, 10.1ip, 6h, 1r, 0er, 5bb, 15k)...On 11/20 was added to the Reds' 40-man roster.

2018

At Class AA Daytona was a Florida State League All-Star and MiLB.com Organizational All-Star...in a Baseball America survey, his curveball was rated the best in the organization and best in the Florida State League...also was rated the FSL's best reliever...his 12 saves ranked T4th in the FSL and fifth among all Reds farmhands.

2017

Went 5-5, 2.90 with 8 saves in 47 relief apps for Class A Dayton and Daytona...held opponents to a .211 batting average...posted a 1.24 WHIP.
