Played his entire season at Memphis (AAA) appearing in 61 games and starting 47 games at catcher...Made one start at first base vs. Omaha (9/5) in the second game of a doubleheader and was 1-for-2 with two walks and two runs scored...Threw out 24.0% (12 CS/50 SB ATT) of attempted base stealers. Had a season-high two caught stealing vs. Charlotte (8/25)...Hit left-handed pitchers at a .298 (17-for-57, two HR), but hit for power against right-handed pitchers with seven of his nine home runs (.250, 34-for-136)...Ran off a 14-game hitting streak (8/4-29) hitting safely in all but one August game (8/3). Batted .388 (19-for-49) with two HR and seven RBI during the streak...Participated in the Cardinals Spring Training Early Program (S.T.E.P.) Camp.

Spent entire season at Single-A Lynchburg, appearing in 54 games at catcher, 29 games at first base and 1 game at third base...Tossed out 19 of 45 runners attempting to steal (42%) off him...Connected for a pair of home runs on June 12 at Wilmington after hitting one homer over his fist 37 games of the season...Was on the Injured list, Apr. 26-May 9, with a cervical strain...Hit .316 (24-for-76) in 22 July games with 6 2B, 2 HR and 14 RBI...Appeared in 12 games at catcher for Mesa in the Arizona Fall League after the season.

2018

Limited to 67 games due to two DL stints: 5/1-13 (right back strain) and 5/29-7/12 (right triceps strain)...On the year appeared in 31 games at catcher and 29 at third base.

Hit a combined .272 (77-for-283) in 80 games between Single-A Lake County and Lynchburg with 21 doubles, 12 home runs and 54 RBI (.340/.481/.820).
