2024

Attended Spring Training with the Mets as a non-roster invitee but spent the entire season with the A’s (traded on 3/23)...Placed on the 15-Day Injured List on 8/15 with a right forearm strain and missed the remainder of the season...Ranked first in the AL and third in the Majors in average exit velocity (85.1 MPH), trailing only NYM’s Huascar Brazobán and SD’s Tanner Scott...Used his slider more often than any other pitcher in MLB (73.8%)...Allowed six ER in 1.1 IP over a three-game span from 6/21-26, but posted a 2.70 ERA (12 ER/40.0 IP) in his other 53 outings.

2023

Suffered a fractured right ankle after taking a Joc Pederson line drive off the joint on Aug. 1...Missed the rest of the season.

2022

Limited to just two games with the Padres before being placed on the injured list from April 14-end of season (strained right forearm).

2021

Set career bests in a multitude of categories across his 65 appearances (4th-most in SD’s pen), including IP (52.2), opp. AVG (.159), SO (76), SO/9.0 IP (12.99) and HR% (0.41)...Did not allow a run in 49 of his 65 appearances, including 25 consecutive outings without an earned run from April 18-June 15, going 2-0 with four4 holds, 0.67 WHIP and .078 opp. AVG over that stretch…the 25 straight outings without an earned run was T-2nd longest streak in the NL and T-4th longest in the majors...Among all pitchers who faced at least 240 batters, he posted the lowest HR/9 IP ratio (0.17), while his 12.99 SO/9 IP was 2rd-highest in NL (behind only Jacob deGrom) and seventh-highest in MLB…his 4.78 H/9 was the third-lowest ratio in the majors, behind only deGrom and Kenley Jansen....Set a new MLB record for the Live Ball era (since 1920) for most hit-batsmen in a single season (24)…he did so in 52.2 IP, and no pitcher had ever had 15+ HBP in fewer than 100.0 IP…the fewest IP prior to Adams’ record was BOS’ Alfredo Aceves (114.0) in 2011...Threw 962 pitches, with 838 of them being sliders…the 87.1% slider usage was second-highest in the majors, behind only Matt Wisler’s 90.9%...Had just one IL stint, starting the season on the IL with a right elbow strain (April 1-10)...Posted a 0.37 ERA (1 ER, 24.1 IP) and .065 opp. AVG in his 28 appearances at home as opposed to a 7.31 ERA (23 ER, 28.1 IP) in his 37 road outings...In 40 outings before the AS break he posted a 1.71 ERA (6 ER, 31.2 IP)…after the break - 7.71 ERA (18 ER, 21.0 IP)...Tossed a career-high-tying 2.0 IP in his final outing on Sept. 30 @ LAD for the 1st time since Sept. 7, 2019, @ HOU and 4th overall…allowed his only HR of the season in his final outing, an 0-2 pitch to Corey Seager.

Acquired by SD in a 7-player trade with SEA on Aug. 30 in one of the club's 6 trade deadline deals...reinstated from the IL on Sept. 20 (recovery from left knee surgery)...Made his SD debut Sept. 22 vs. LAA, exactly a year and one day since his final outing as a Mariner (Sept. 21, 2019 @ BAL), tossing a scoreless 1.0 IP...Made his 2nd consecutive scoreless appearance in Game 1 of the Sept. 25 doubleheader @ SF...he threw 18 pitches (15 strikes), 16 of which were sliders...the Giants swung at 10 of those sliders and whiffed on seven... Secured his 1st hold as a Padre in SD's season finale, a 5-4 win on Sept. 27 @ SF...allowed 2 ER and 1 HR...allowed multiple runs in just three of his 30 outings for SEA in '19...Struck out six of the 13 righties he faced (1-11, .091 clip) while lefties hit .500 (2-4)...Limited batters to a .100 AVG (1-10) with runners on...opponents were hitless with RISP (0-5) and RISP/2 out (0-2).

POSTSEASON: Made the 1st postseason appearances of his career, allowing one earned run on two walks and two hit batters across four relief outings (5.40 ERA)...tossed 0.1 IP in three of the four appearances...earned the win in the decisive Game 3 Wild Card series victory vs. STL, a 4-0 bullpen shutout.

Appeared in two games across one stint with Washington from April 25-29...Spent the rest of the season with Triple-A Syracuse...Recorded 78 strikeouts and surrendered just one home run in 46.1 innings...Posted career marks in strikeouts per 9.0 (15.2), walks per 9.0, (3.9) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.90).

2017

Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Syracuse...Made his Major League debut on July 15 at CIN...Earned a Sept. recall that featured five MLB appearances...Pitched to a 1.80 ERA (1 ER/5.0 IP) in those five Sept. appearances...Opposing batters hit .176 against him in Sept. (3-for-17)...Posted a 6-2 record and a 2.14 ERA in 44 games (59.0 IP) out of Triple-A Syracuse's bullpen...From June 15 through the end of the Triple-A Season, went 4-1 with four saves and a 1.25 ERA (5 ER/36.0 IP)...Struck out 56, walked 16 and allowed just two home runs during that stretch.

2016

Split season between Cleveland and Triple-A Columbus...Made 19 relief appearances across three stints with the Indians (May 22 - June 6; July 1 - Aug. 2; Sept. 10 - end of season)...Spent most of the campaign in Columbus, posting a 2-4 record with eight saves and a 4.54 ERA (37.2 IP - 19 ER) in 34 relief appearances…Averaged 9.8 strikeouts per nine innings for Columbus and allowed only one home run on the Triple-A season...Posted an ERA of 1.10 (16.1 IP - 2 ER) over his first 14 outings with the Clippers prior to his first recall on May 22...Recorded 17 strikeouts in 18.1 innings of Major League work (recorded at least one strikeout in 11 of his 19 outings)...Notched scoreless outings in each of his first four appearances (5.1IP) with the Tribe.

2015

Went 3-2 with one save and a 3.27 ERA in 38 games across three levels of the Angels' system...Began the season with Single-A Inland Empire before being promoted to Double-A Arkansas and eventually Triple-A Salt Lake...Did not allow a home run in 55.0 innings pitched.

2014

Spent the entire season at Single-A Inland Empire...Appeared in a career-high 42 games...Was named a California League mid-season All-Star.

2013

Went 2-1 with one save and a 3.98 ERA in 27 games for Single-A Burlington.

2012

Reported to short-season Single-A Orem...Recorded four saves in 24 appearances out of the bullpen.
