Split time during the season with Triple-A Salt Lake and the Angels... Started the season with the Bees... In 117 games at the Triple-A level, hit .271 (124/457) with 43 doubles, five triples, seven home runs, 50 RBIs and 63 runs scored in 78 games… The 43 doubles paced the Pacific Coast League. Recalled by the Angels June 10 and made Major League debut that night... Started the game in Tampa Bay at third base, going 2-for-3... Was the fifth Angel to collect two hits in his debut starting at third base and just the first to do so since George Arias April 2, 1996... Went on to make three stints at the Major League level, going 7-for-36 (.194) with an RBI. Played in 17 games defensively for the Halos: 13 at third base, two at second base and two in left field.
