Recalled by TOR on 9/1 and posted no record with a 4.66 ERA (5 ER/9.2 IP), 1.345 WHIP, 7.4 SO/9, and .243 opp. BA over 9 relief outings in 1st ML action…had a 58.6% GB pct w/ Jays…had no save chances, no holds, 5 games finished, and allowed 4 of 8 inherited runners to score…all 9 outing were Jays losses, and club was trailing every time he took the ball…made MLB debut on 9/1 at MIA (2.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R)…pitched 4 times against the Rays, his original organization (4.0 IP, 5 H, 5 R-ER), and posted 5.2 SHO IP against all other opponents…permitted just one XBH, a Ji-Man Choi HR on 9/3 vs. TB…spent balance of season at Buffalo (AAA), going 2-2, 5.18 in 23 G/7 GS with 1.570 WHIP and 6.4 SO/9…made 6 straight starts from 5/20-6/17, but was on DL from 6/21-7/23 with right forearm strain, and pitched exclusively in relief the rest of the way…became a free agent when TOR assigned him outright to Buffalo on 11/2.

Was assigned to Triple-A Durham to begin the season ... Made his AAA debut on April 8 at Gwinnett, earning the win while striking out seven batters over 5.2 innings ... Threw just 3.2 innings in his next start on April 13 vs. Charlotte (2H, 0R, 1BB, 5K) before leaving with a strained right elbow ... Did not play the rest of the year due to issues with his right elbow.
