2016

Opened the season in El Paso, and was called up by the Padres in September...Posted a 2-1 record, 4.32 ERA, and 62 strikeouts in 50 total innings with the Chihuahuas...On Nov. 18 was claimed off waivers by the Toronto Blue Jays.

2015

Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A El Paso, also pitching in one game for San Diego....Made his only Major League appearance of the season on 8/3 at MIL, allowing one run on one hit with a strikeout and a walk over 1.0 inning…recalled from Triple-A El Paso on 8/1 and optioned back on 8/5....Appeared in 38 games out of the bullpen for the Chihuahuas, pitching to a 2-0 record with a 2.90 ERA(16 ER, 49.2 IP) and 68 strikeouts against 21 walks while limiting opponents to a .169 average....Did not allow a run over his last 11 minor league outings and 15.0 innings from 6/24 through the end of the season, allowing a .100 (5-for-50) opponents average with 23 strikeouts against six walks in that time....Limited left-handed hitters to a .133/.235/.200 (8-for-60) line in Triple-A and right-handers to a .188/.269/.316 (22- for-117) line....Had one stint on the seven-day DL with Triple-A El Paso.

Spent the majority of the season with Double-A San Antonio, also seeing time with Triple-A El Paso before making his Major League debut with the Padres in September...Selected from San Antonio on 9/1…Major League debut on 9/3 vs. ARI…worked scoreless ball in four of his six appearances...Fanned four hitters in 1.1 innings on 9/8 at LAD, becoming the eighth reliever in franchise history and first since Luke Gregerson on 6/23/10 at TB to record four strikeouts in 1.1-or-fewer innings…fourth rookie in Padres franchise history to accomplish this feat, joining Gregerson on 10/4/09 vs. SF, Tim Mauser on 9/3/93 at ATL and Bill Laxton on 6/23/74 at HOU...In 31 games, 14 starts, for the Missions, went 2-7 with a 5.60 ERA (45 ER, 72.1 IP) and 95 strikeouts against 38 walks…in his 17 relief outings for San Antonio, posted a 3.65 ERA (10 ER, 24.2 IP) with 33 strikeouts vs. eight walks...Opened the season with Triple-A El Paso, where he made 11 relief appearances, pitching to an 0-0 record with a 11.70 ERA (13 ER, 10.0 IP) with 13 strikeouts against 13 walks while limiting the opposition to a .408 batting average…was transferred to Double-A on 5/2. 2013: In his first full professional season, began

In his fi rst full professional season, began the year at Single-A Fort Wayne and appeared in 55 games total between Fort Wayne and Double-A San Antonio...struck out 106 in 67.0 combined innings...Over 28 relief appearances for the TinCaps, went 2-1 with fi ve saves, a 2.23 ERA (9 ER, 36.1 IP), 63 strikeouts against 22 walks and a .150 (19-for-127) opponent batting average…recorded a strikeout per 9.0 IP ratio of 15.6 (36 .1 IP, 63 SO)...Promoted to Double-A San Antonio on June 27, spending the remainder of the season with the Missions…posted a 0.88 ERA (3 ER, 30.2 IP) with San Antonio to go with 43 strikeouts against 16 walks....Overall on the season, went 3-1 with a 1.61 ERA (12 ER, 67.0 IP) and 106 strikeouts against 38 walks.

Missed the entire season after undergoing Tommy John surgery on his right elbow in October of 2011.

In his first professional season made just one start for Eugene before missing the majority of the season with a right elbow strain.

Made four relief appearances in the Venezuelan Winter League from December 11-30, signing with the Padres as a non-drafted free agent on December 21.
