Nicholas Bruno Rumbelow graduated from Bullard (TX) High School before attending LSU... Played three seasons at LSU (2011-13), where he made SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2012 and 2013...Represented the Wareham Gatemen in 2012 Cape Cod League All-Star Game.

Pitched for Tacoma (AAA) before he was released on June 12...Signed with the Mets two months later.

2018

2016

Made one relief appearance with Triple-A Scranton/WB, tossing 1.0 scoreless inning (2H, 1WP)…was placed on the minor league disabled list on 4/11…underwent "Tommy John" surgery on his right elbow on 4/19, performed by Yankees Head Team Physician Dr. Christopher Ahmad at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital…was reinstated from the minor league D.L., recalled from Scranton/WB and placed on the 60-day disabled list on 9/2…made eight spring training relief appearances, going 1-1 with a 5.19 ERA (8.2IP, 5ER)…

2015

Made MLB debut with New York-AL, appearing in 17 relief games and going 1-1 with 4.02 ERA (7 ER, 15.2 IP) with 15 strikeouts…spent his minor league season with Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre, going 2-3 with 8 saves and a 4.27 ERA (25 ER, 52.2 IP) with 57 strikeouts… MLB debut June 23 loss vs. Philadelphia; including first Major League strikeout (Cameron Rupp)…first Major League win on Aug. 18 vs. Minnesota (0.1 IP, 1H, 1K).

2014

Combined between Short-A Charleston, A Tampa, AA Trenton and AAA ScrantonWilkes-Barre to make 44 relief appearances, going 5-2 with 8 saves and a 2.62 ERA (17 ER, 58.1 IP) with 81 strikeouts…had 12.50 K/9.0 IP ratio…began season with Single-A Charleston (8 G, 5 SV, 0.00 ERA)…transferred to Single-A Tampa on May 10, going 5-1 with 1 save and 2.39 ERA (7 ER, 26.1 IP) in 19 outings…promoted to AA Trenton on July 16, where he fanned 15-of-28 batters…promoted to AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Aug. 4, going 0-1 with 1 save and a 4.02 ERA (7 ER, 15.2 IP) in 10 outings.
