Made St. Louis' Opening Day roster...was optioned on April 4 after appearing in just three games as a pinch-hitter... Was recalled by St. Louis on April 15 and optioned again following the game...was recalled a final time on April 22 and appeared in one game before being sent down again... Spent the season with Triple-A Memphis and hit .265 (50-for-189) with eight doubles, two triples, six homers and 28 RBI in 55 games.
