Made his Braves debut while spending the majority of the season pitching out of Triple-A Gwinnett's bullpen…Also spent time with Double-A Mississippi and went a combined 1-3 with a 2.65 ERA (16 ER/54.1 IP) in 36 relief appearances at the minor league level... Recalled to Atlanta on 7/6 and made his Braves debut two days later at WSH in a 13-0 win… Tossed a perfect inning with one strikeout... Six of his eight MLB outings were 1.0 inning or less…Went 2.1 innings on 7/26 at ARI and 1.1 innings on 7/17 vs. CHI... Optioned to Triple-A on 8/1, where he finished out the season... Began the year with Double-A Mississippi, serving as the team's closer…Did not allow a run over 7.2 innings in six games before moving to Triple-A Gwinnett on 4/25, where he remained until his recall... Limited Triple-A righties to a .187 average (17-for91) with no home runs and a .491 OPS... Went more than 1.0 inning in 19 of his 30 Triple-A outings…Tossed a season-best 3.0 innings twice: 4/28 at Pawtucket and 5/25 vs. Buffalo.

Split the season between Atlanta's and New York's (NL) organization after a midseason trade between the clubs...Combined to go 5-3 with a 3.25 ERA (22 ER/61.0 IP) in 47 minor league games out of the bullpen... Began the season with Double-A Binghamton, compiling a 2-2 record and a 4.62 ERA (13 ER/25.1 IP) in 22 games... Traded to Atlanta on 6/8 in exchange for INF/OF Kelly Johnson... Spent one day with Atlanta at the MLB level after the club recalled him on 8/12...Did not appear in the game and the team optioned him back to Double-A Mississippi... Appered in 25 games with the M-Braves, going 3-1 with a 2.27 ERA (9 ER/35.2 IP)... Did not allow a home run while with Mississippi.

Was recalled from St. Lucie (A) of the Florida State League on June 15...Optioned to Binghamton (AA) of the Eastern League on June 18...Made his major league debut on June 17 at Toronto...Pitched 0.2 innings, allowed three hits, issued three walks and surrendered five earned runs...Became the 12th player from the Virgin Islands to reach the majors...Was named to the mid-season Florida State League All-Star team after going 0-1 with 13 saves and a 1.69 ERA (six earned runs/32.0 innings) in 24 games....Went 0-1 with a 2.45 ERA (eight earned runs/29.1 innings) in 23 games with the BMets...Combined to notch 81 strikeouts in 61.1 minor league innings.
