Attended Cook High School in Adel, GA...Won the Gatorade High School Baseball Player of the Year Award in 2010 after batting .654 (second highest in state history at the ti me). 2017

In third season with the Angels, set new career highs in games (50), hits (23), average (.225), runs (18), doubles (5), triples (1), home runs (3), RBI (11), stolen bases (4), walks (10) and OBP (.313) ... Posted a combined .984 fielding percentage at second base (30 G) and third base (24 G) at the big league level ... In 90 games with Triple-A Salt Lake, hit .311 (114/367) with 25 doubles, a triple, 12 home runs and 57 RBI…One of four players in the Pacific Coast League with 25 doubles, 10 home runs and 15 steals.

2016

Spent ti me with both the Angels and Triple-A Salt Lake...Appeared defensively at three diff erent positi ons at the Major League level: 21 games at third base, 15 at second base and one at fi rst...In 107 games in with the Bees, led the team in hits, doubles, home runs and RBI...Set a new minor league career high in doubles and the nine home runs were highest total since a career-high 16 in 2012...Played all four infi eld positi ons in Triple-A: 65 games at third base, 15 at first base, 14 at second and 10 at shortstop.

2015

Former first round draft pick spent time with Class A Inland Empire and Triple-A Salt Lake prior to August call up with the Angels...Compiled eight hits in 46 at-bats (.174) with two doubles, a home run and four RBIs in 34 games at the Major League level. Had contract purchased from Triple-A Aug. 18 and made Major League debut that night, starting at third base (0/3)...Collected first big league hit Aug. 22 with a 5th inning home run, becoming the 12th player in franchise history to homer for their first hit and first since Terry Evans June 20, 2007. Hit .323 (71/220) with 13 doubles, three triples and six home runs in 62 games with the Bees…Had he qualified, the .323 average would rank fifth in the PCL… Began the year with Class A Inland Empire… Hit .323 (31/96) over his final 26 games with the 66ers before being promoted to Triple-A June 11. Named Angels Minor League Player of the Month in both June and July this season…Was also named Angels Minor League Defender of the Month in April.
