TORONTO // Had contract purchased on 5/8 and made his major league debut in a start on 5/9 vs. CLE…recorded 1st ML hit in 2nd career start on 5/15 vs. ATL with a RBI single off Bartolo Colon in the 4th inning…appeared as a reserve 3 times (1-for2) before he was designated for assignment on 5/20…recalled from Buffalo (AAA) on 8/12 and went 1-for-4 in 2 games/one start before he was designated again on 8/16.

Spent a second full season at Double-A, playing in 103 games for Springfield, 97 at catcher and six as the DH…Was a Texas League mid-season and post-season All-Star. 2013

Hit a career-best .313/.410/.524 in 100 games for the Keys, winning the batting title and leading the Carolina League in OPS...Also set career-highs in runs (61), hits (113), doubles (29), triples (4), home runs (13), RBI (53), stolen bases (5), walks (56) and total bases (189)...Named a Carolina League All-Star and won two Player of the Week Awards...Named Topps Carolina League Player of the Year...Also batted .290/.476/.774 in 10 games for the championship-winning Surprise Saguaros in the Arizona Fall League following the season...Named the O's #9 prospect by Baseball America following the season.

2012

Had 14 multi-hit games in 51 played with the Shorebirds and reached base in 47 of 50 games started…Was one of three hitters in the South Atlantic League with 100 or more at-bats to have more walks than strikeouts (33 BB, 27 SO)...Batted .328 in 31 games for Perth of the Australian Baseball League.

2011

Was selected to the SAL Mid-Season All-Star Team…Led the team in RBI (51), was second in games played (105), third in walks (48) and tied for third in hits (84) and doubles (15).

2010

Hit his first professional home run May 20 against Hagerstown…Was transferred to Bluefield on June 7…Had a career-high three hits June 23 at Pulaski.

Picked up his first professional hit in his second game, August 25 against the GCL Rays.
