Split time between Triple-A and Atlanta, starting the season with Gwinnett before earning a promotion to Atlanta on 4/23, the first of three stints in the Majors. Suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee after a collision with Jason Heyward on 8/14 and missed the remainder of the season after undergoing successful surgery by Dr. Marvin Royster on 8/19. Made his first career defensive appearance as an outfielder (CF) on 7/12 vs. CIN, replacing the injured Justin Upton in the 8th inning. Compiled two hits in 10 at-bats (.200) as a pinch hitter with Atlanta, scoring two runs. Hit .292 (84-for-288) in 74 games with Gwinnett, second highest on the club among players with over 300 plate appearances.
