Cory missed nearly the entire season with a right labrum injury which required surgery ... appeared in two games with Triple-A El Paso prior to going on the disabled list, allowing one unearned run in 1.1 innings.

Made his Major League debut for San Diego, spending the majority of the season with Triple-A El Paso....Had five stints total for San Diego…first recalled on 4/26 for his first career Major League call-up and made his Major League the next day on 4/27 vs. HOU....Optioned back to El Paso on 5/1 before being recalled again on 5/19…sent back on 6/2 before being recalled again on 6/15 and optioned back on 6/18....Recalled a final time on 9/4 and placed on the 60-day DL with a strained right shoulder, missing the rest of the year....In 26 relief appearances for El Paso went 1-3 with a 3.97 ERA (15 ER, 34.0 IP) and 46 strikeouts against 12 walks with a .197 opponents batting average…over his first 12 appearances posted a 1.04 ERA (2 ER, 17.1 IP) and 27 strikeouts against four walks while limiting opponents to a .115 (6-for-52) average.

Began the season on the disabled list after sustaining a right triceps strain during Spring Training ... was activated, June 21 ... all told, was 7-2 with a 4.68 ERA (40 ER/77.0 IP) and 75 strikeouts in 14 starts between the Gulf Coast League Mets, Single-A St. Lucie, Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Las Vegas...
