Danny made his major league debut, allowing no runs in six outings with Chicago ... in 14 relief outings with Iowa, he went 0-1 with three saves, a 0.91 WHIP and a 1.26 ERA (2 ER/14.1 IP), striking out 23 batters in 14.1 innings ... With Iowa, he limited foes to a .087 batting average against (4-for-46), including a .050 batting average by lefties (1-for-20) ... On injured list April 4-June 16 (left shoulder strain), June 26-July 17 (left groin strain) and August 14-Sept. 2 (left shoulder impingement syndrome) ... Spent most of the season on the Triple-A disabled list with left shoulder inflammation. Had two stints on the DL, April 29-June 26 and July 7-Sept. 1. Went 4-1 with a 2.05 ERA (7 ER, 30.2 IP) in 6 starts with AAA Tacoma…averaged 9.98 K/9.0 IP (34 K) with the Rainiers. Made one rehab start with rookie-level AZL Mariners (1-0, 1.80 ERA, 8 K). Scratched from start April 25 at Las Vegas and placed on the DL. Rated as the No. 18 (MLB.com) and No. 29 (Baseball America) prospect entering 2013.
