Spent most of the season in AAA Buffalo in the Blue Jays organization and returned to the Majors in June for the first time since April 2015...Was with Toronto, June 5-July 21 before being designated and outrighted back to Buffalo on July 25... Allowed runs in 7 of his 19 outings with Toronto, including 6 in his final outing of July 21 at Cleveland without recording an out...With Buffalo, he recorded 14 outings of at least 2.0 IP and limited left-handed hitters to a .174 (12/69) average against (.554 OPS)...Batters at AAA hit .160 (12/75) off him with runners on.

Spent the majority of the season with the Frederick Keys of the Carolina League (A) before ending the year with Bowie Baysox (AA)...In 16 appearances with the Baysox following the All-Star break, posted a 1.61 ERA (5 ER/28.0 IP) with a 0.96 WHIP…In those outings held the opposition to a .140 average...Recorded a 19.0 scoreless innings streak from July 7-Aug. 11…In fact, allowed only four earned runs over 30.0 innings

Had four tours with the Rays, but didn't appear in a game until his last one…was up for a total of 4 days in his first 3 appearances... Had gone home to Rhode Island after Durham's loss to Omaha in the Triple-A championship game on Sep 18, but three days later received a promotion to the Rays following their 18-inning win on Sep 20 vs. BAL... His lone appearance with the Rays came on Sept. 27 at TOR in a game the Rays lost 6-3...
