Resides in Panama City, PA during the offseason...His father, Enrique Sr., appeared in the majors with Kansas City (1993) and San Francisco (1995)...they formed the first father-son duo from Panama to play in the Major Leagues.

2022

Enrique Burgos pitched in eight games for Leones del Yucatan in the Independent Mexican League. Allowed six runs on eight hits with five strikeouts and five walks in 7.1 innings... After the season, made 18 appearances with Gigantes del Cibao in the Dominican Winter League, pitching 15.0 scoreless innings with 17 strikeouts and five walks.

2017

Began the 2017 season in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization, before being acquired by the Atlanta Braves on May 20...Sidelined from April 17-May 3 with a right forearm contusion...Sidelined from May 21-28 with a right ankle sprain...Did not allow a run in his first 11 appearances with Triple A Gwinnett from May 29-July 4, a stretch that lasted 11.2 innings...Made six appearances with Estrellas Orientales in the Dominican Winter League, compiling a 0-0 record with a 131.50 ERA (2.2IP/4ER) and four strikeouts.
