In his second Major League season made 9 apps for the Indians and 5 apps for the Reds...on 9/27 was claimed off waivers from Cle...had been designated for assignment on 9/23...to make room on the Reds' 40-man roster, IF/OF Kristopher Negron was transferred to the 60-day disabled list...from 9/30-10/2 started 3 straight games in CF batting second, eighth and first in the order...made his Reds debut on 9/30 vs Cubs and singled off Jon Lester in his first plate appearance...spent most of the season at Columbus, where as a mid-season International League All-Star he hit .302 in 101 apps in helping lead the Clippers to the Class AAA championship game.
2014
Split the season between AA Akron, AAA Columbus and spent four different stints with Cleveland in his first taste of Major League action in his fifth professional season ... Began the season at Akron and spent 39 games with the Rubberducks before being p romoted to Columbus on May 26 ... Combined between the two stop s he hit .305 (107-351) with 74 runs scored, 19 doubles, 2 home runs, 30 RBI and 31 steals in 37 attemp ts... Led the Indians farm system in steals and was 4th in batting average and 2nd in runs scored. Thrived at Columbus, hitting .308 (70-227) with 15 doubles, 2HR, 16 RBI, 20 steals and 61 runs scored in 59 games ... Enjoyed three 4-hit games with Clip p ers and had four 3-hit games with the Clip p ers...Hit .357 (35-98) in July with 7 2B, 4 RBI and 28 runs scored in 25 games...Hit a combined .358 (39-109) off LHP between the two stops and .293 (43-147) with runners on base... Collected his first career pinch-hit and first career double/RBI with a 6th inning double at Minnesota off Brian Duensing on August 19...Was 3-for-7 as a p inch-hitter with 2 RBI with Cleveland. With Cleveland he appeared in 28 games in right field (14 starts), 9 games in center field (3 starts) and 1 game in left field ...Hit .311 (14-45) off left-handed pitching at the Major League level and hit .313 (10-32) in 14 August games... Spent entire season at AA Akron where he finished the campaign ranked among Eastern League leaders in triples (5th; 9), stolen bases (4th; 28), and runs scored (2nd; 83)...His 28 stolen bases were 4th-best in the Indians PD system.

Ranked 3rd in Indians PDS with 29 steals and T 4th with 77 runs scored...Following the season, played for the Scottsdale Scorpions in the Arizona Fall League...Was named the organization's Best Defensive Outfielder in Baseball America's Best Tools survey.
