Was claimed off waivers by Toronto from Chicago-AL on 3/29…Began the season at Triple-A Buffalo, where he batted .264 with 0 HR and 9 RBI in 21 games before he was traded to Los Angeles on 5/3 in exchange for cash…Finished the year at Triple-A Oklahoma City, batting .249 with 18 HR and 70 RBI in 105 games…Was claimed off waivers a total of four times beginning 9/6 when he was claimed by Baltimore from Los Angeles.....was also claimed in the offseason on 12/2 (Seattle from Baltimore), 12/14 (Texas from Seattle) and 12/23 (Milwaukee from Texas)…Played for Aguilas in the Dominican Winter League (10g, .194, 0hr, 1rbi).
