Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Reno, going 2-2 with 2 saves and a 4.15 ERA (20 ER in 43.1 IP) in 48 games...also appeared in 6 games with the D-backs and posted a 37.13 ERA (11 ER in 2.2 IP) with 15 hits...Began the season with Arizona...optioned to Reno on April 24.

2008

Opened the season with Single-A Augusta and went 5-1 with a 2.30 ERA (8 ER in 31.1 IP) in 20 relief appearances...Struck out 37 with the GreenJackets while opponents hit just .204 (23-for-113) against him...Transferred to Single-A San Jose on May 25...limited the opposition to a .200 average (28-for-140) in 34 relief appearances with San Jose.
