Split the season between the majors and Triple-A Durham…appeared in 19 games over four stints with the Rays, posting a 5.06 ERA (21.1-IP, 12-ER)…combining the majors and minors, worked 59 games and 78.2 IP, both career highs... Began the year with Durham and was recalled May 10…compiled a 3.72 ERA (9.2-IP, 4-ER) in 9 games during his first stint and was optioned June 1…had brief stints in June and August…returned to the majors on Aug 31 as rosters expanded and pitched in 5 games in September... Had a 1.86 ERA (9.2-IP, 2-ER) in 8 games at Tropicana Field…on the road, had a 7.71 ERA (11.2-IP, 10-ER) in 11 games…owns a career 3.73 ERA (31.1-IP, 13-ER) at home and 9.69 ERA (26-IP, 28-ER) on the road... In 40 games for Durham, maintained a 0.63 ERA (57.1-IP, 4-ER) and went 17-for-18 in save opps…tied for 5th in the International League in saves, but ranked 2nd on the team behind Kirby Yates (20)…opposing hitters batted only .196 avg. In 2012 made 3 appearances for the Rays over three stints…made his first Opening Day roster with RH Kyle Farnsworth on the disabled list…spent the remainder of the season with Durham... Made his Rays debut on April 7 vs. NYY, entering an 8-3 game in the 8th inning…surrendered 3 R/ER in 1.1 IP…optioned to Durham on April 14, recalled May 15 and optioned May 19…recalled July 31 and optioned Aug 2... Recorded 71 SO and 17 BB for Durham in 67.2 IP…beginning June 25, he totaled 42 SO and only 4 BB.
