Longest start of his career came May 24 vs. San Francisco, pitching 8.1 innings and allowing two runs on six hits with two walks and seven strikeouts … entered the ninth inning having allowed no runs on two hits. Was placed on the 15-day disabled list July 19 with right elbow inflammation … was sent to the Minors on a rehab stint Aug. 15 and was reinstated from the disabled list Aug. 24.
