promoted to Cin when rosters expanded on 9/1 and made 12 apps ... made his only start for the Reds in the
5-3 win on 9/20 at Chi (2B, 1-4, 1 2b, 2rbi) ... on 9/2 at Hou pinch hit in his Major League debut and struck out
(Jose Valdez) ... on 9/8 vs Hou recorded his first Major League hit (single off Jose Valdez) ... in spring training

In 127 apps at Class A Bakersfield and Class AA Carolina combined to hit .320 (36 2b,
13hr, 81rbi, 30sb)...ranked among the organizational leaders in batting average (2nd) and RBI (T3rd)...was
the Reds' Minor League Player of the Month for May (29g, .335, 5hr, 21rbi, 6sb)...for Bakersfield, began the
season with a 17-game hitting streak (.400)...from 5/19-6/9 added a 19-game hitting streak (.438) that included
18g for Bakersfield and his first appearance for Carolina...following the season played for Aguilas de Zulia
in the Venezuelan League (35g, .279, 3 2b, 2 3b, 2hr, 12rbi, 2sb)...prior to Spring Training earned a spot on
the Caribbean Series All-Star team...entered the season rated the 23rd-best prospect in the organization...
on 11/18 was added to the 40-man roster.
2010
In 130 apps at Class A Dayton and Lynchburg combined to hit .305 (14hr, 82rbi, 33sb)...for the Dragons
was a Midwest League All-Star and MWL Player of the Week for 5/31-6/7...led all Reds minor leaguers in RBI
and ranked among the organizational leaders in batting average (4th) and steals (3rd)...ranked among the
Midwest League leaders in hits (158, 2nd), total bases (243, 4th) and batting average (.307, 8th)...beginning
8/14 finished the season with a 16-game hitting streak (.431)...from 6/3-8/7 hit safely in 25 straight home
games, the longest home hitting streak in the Midwest League in 2010.
2009
At Sarasota ranked fourth in
the Gulf Coast League and led all Reds short-season minor league batters in hitting (.322)...on 8/27 at GCL
Orioles hit a grand slam...following the season played for Zulia in the Venezuelan League.
2008
Hit .316
with 21 stolen bases for the Dominican Summer League Reds...from 7/22-8/2 had a 10-game hitting streak
(.476), went 0-for-3 on 8/4 and then from 8/5-8/20 put together a 12-game streak (.426).
