A hand injury limited his season to just 60 games with Binghamton (AA) of the Eastern League...On June 23rd against Harrisburg, sustained a contusion of the right hamate bone...On July 30th, the diagnosis was changed to a hamate fracture (body of the hamate)...Placed in a cast on July 31st...Underwent an MRI on September 5th, and the examination revealed a fracture of the hook of the hamate...On September 13th, Dr. Andrew Weiland removed the hamate hook at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan.

2006
