Spent most of the 2013 season with Colorado, compiling a mark of 3-0 with a 4.33 ERA in 61 relief appearances after beginning the year at AAA Colorado Springs (recalled on 4/21)...He limited left-handed batters to a .198 (22-111, .539OPS) average against, recorded a 3.41ERA in Coors Field (29.0IP, 30H, 11ER) and allowed only 3 home runs and averaged 8.83 strikeouts per 9.0IP over his 54.0 innings pitched...Finished 9th among National League relievers in pct. of inherited runners who scored at 17.6% (6-of-34)... The .198 clip against left-handed batters was the 6th-lowest mark for a National League reliever...In his career lefties have batted .189 (59-312) off him.

walks and seven strikeouts while holding opponents to a .217 (5-for-23) average. Was optioned to Tulsa 7/4 and went 2-5 with a 3.63 ERA (69.1 ip, 28 er), 30 walks and 71 strikeouts in 14 appearances,
11 starts, for the Drillers. Recalled for the remainder of the season on 9/10 and finished the season in the Rockies bullpen, going 1-0 with a 5.59
ERA (9.2 ip, 6 er), four walks and eight strikeouts with an opponent average of .222. On the season held lefties to a .197 (12-for-61) batting average...walked only four lefties while striking out 26. (2-0, 0.75 ERA)...won Phillies Minor League Pitcher of the Month honors for August when he went
5-0 with a 0.28 ERA...pitched a one-hit shutout Aug. 5 at Kannapolis (7.0 ip, 3 bb, 9 so)...it was the
first shutout of his career...won six straight decisions from July 31 to Aug. 27 and posted a 0.23 ERA
over that stretch...struck out 10 or more batters three times during the season, including a season high
12 June 16 vs. Lake County...held opponents to a .213 average...rated the sixth best prospect in Phillies
minor league system by Baseball America following the season.
