2016

In his first season with the Dodgers made a career-high 61 apps...didn't allow a run in 14 of his last 17 apps of the season...stranded 29-37 inherited baserunners...righthanded batters hit just .234...in August spent time on the Dodgers' disabled list with right shoulder fatigue...included a rehabilitation start for AZL Dodgers on 8/22 and 3 rehab relief apps for Oklahoma City from 8/25-8/30...on 1/29 was designated for assignment by the Royals...was released on 2/3 and soon after spring training began was signed by LAD to a 1-year Major League contract through the 2016 season...following the season was non-tendered by the Dodgers...on 1/10/17 was signed by the Reds to a minor league contract with an invitation to Major League spring training camp.

2015

Spent majority of the 2015 season with the Royals' Triple-A Omaha, going 8-2 with nine saves and a 1.69 ERA (12 ER/64.0 IP) in 38 games. ... Struck out 63 in 64.0 innings and limited opposing hitters to a .212 batting average, while posting a 1.11 WHIP. ... Named Pacific Coast League Mid-Season All-Star, going 5-1 with six saves and a 1.76 ERA (8 ER/41.0 IP)…limited batters to a .226 average and a posted a 1.17 WHIP. ... Called-up to Kansas City on September 7 and made four scoreless appearances (3.0 IP) in the big leagues

2014

Louis had some struggles in 2014 after recording the second-lowest ERA among MLB pitchers with at least 25.0 innings in 2013...Opened the season on the disabled list, missing eight games due to a bone contusion and sprained middle finger on his pitching hand...Activated on April 9...Appeared in 17 games before being optioned to Triple-A Omaha on June 2; was recalled and optioned two more times before being recalled for a final time on August 29...Earned his first save since the 2011 season in the finale at Chicago on September 28, protecting a 6-4 lead...Allowed just two runs over his final nine appearances of the season (1.69 ERA), while he posted a 1.06 WHIP over 10 appearances in September...Went 2-1 with a 3.86 ERA and seven saves over 28 games at Omaha.

2013

Louis opened a third-straight season with Omaha (AAA), and once again, made a significant contribution at the big league level, appearing in 27 games. Recorded a stretch of 21.0 scoreless Major League innings (May 23-August 23) ... his scoreless streak totaled 26.0 innings, dating back to September 25, 2012, setting a new Royals record for a reliever, passing Joakim Soria's 23.2-straight scoreless frames in 2010. His 0.61 ERA was the lowest among A.L. pitchers with at least 25.0 innings pitched and second-lowest in MLB. Recorded a 1.61 ERA over two stints with Omaha, earning PCL All-Star honors, though he did not participate after being promoted to Kansas City on July 8. Produced a dominant stretch after a second recall from Omaha, averaging 15.43 strikeouts per 9 IP, while holding opponents to a .071 average (2-for-28) from July 10 to August 2. Made two late-season appearances with Wilmington (A), tossing 2.0 scoreless innings before rejoining the Royals on September 3.

2012

Louis opened the season with Omaha (AAA), but ended up making 42 appearances at the big league level...Posted a 2.67 ERAat home in 2012, holding opponents to a .160 mark (17-for-106)...his road ERA was 5.23,with opponents batting .296 (24-for-81)...Averaged 11.47 strikeouts per nine innings, the seventh-best ratio in theA.L. Louis opened the season with Omaha (AAA) before having his contract selected on April 21 and remaining with the Royals for the remainder of the season...Allowed 5 of 39 inherited runners to score, 12.8%, which ranks as the third-best percentage in Royals single-season history (min. 20 IP)...trailed 2011 teammate Greg Holland (6.1%) and Billy Brewer (10.3% in 1993)...Was named Royals Pitcher of the Month for July after posting a 0.61 ERA, the lowest in the A.L. among pitchers with at least 14.2 IP...Recorded his first Major League save on May 11 at New York and his first win on July 25 at Boston.

2010

After finishing the 2009 season with Wilmington (A Advanced), jumped a level to NW Arkansas (AA) to begin 2010...After going 2-1 with a 2.09 ERA in 21 appearances (1 start) for the Naturals and being named a Texas League All-Star, spent the second half of 2010 with Omaha (AAA) where he compiled a 2.23 ERA in 21 games in relief...was also 7 for 8 in save chances...Combined to allow just 62 hits in 92.0 innings, striking out 103 and walking just 25...held opponents to a .191 average against (62-for-325) and right-handed hitters to a .146 mark (27-for-185).

2009

Made his professional debut at Burlington (A) in 2009, appearing in 4 games with the Bees before wrapping up his first campaign with 10 dominant relief appearances for Wilmington.
