Spent entire season at Single-A Beloit...pitched a 6.0-inning complete game, May 28 at Quad Cities...went 2-2, 2.70 (36.2 ip, 11 er) in six starts in May...went 2-1, 1.50 (30.0 ip, 5 er) in five starts in July...won three straight starts, August 16-26...selected to the Midwest League All-Star Team...finished tied for third in Midwest League in innings pitched and was fifth in ERA...tied for first on the club in wins and was second in strikeouts...held lefthanded batters to a .191 (46-for-241) batting average.

Spent entire season at Rookie-level Elizabethton...did not allow a run in his first two starts (13.0 ip), allowing four hits while striking out six...tossed a 7.0-inning complete game shutout, June 29 at Bluefield...had season-high nine strikeouts, August 5 at Greeneville...made 13 appearances for Elizabethton, all starts...was the Twins short season leader in strikeouts with 71.
2005
