Split time between Atlanta and the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves for the third consecutive season, playing in 83 games with the G-Braves and logging 21 Major League games over two stints with Atlanta. Appeared in postseason play for the second consecutive year, making two appearances in the National League Division Series vs. LAD. In Game 2, he was announced in the seventh inning as a pinch-hitter, but did not bat. In Game 4 of the NLDS at LAD, his pinch-hit RBI-single in the seventh inning put the Braves ahead 3-2. Opened the season at Gwinnett (AAA), before being recalled for the first time on 7/13. Was optioned back to GWI on 8/10 and recalled for a final time on 8/31. Recorded three hits in his first game of the season with Atlanta, going 3-for-4 with an RBI on 7/13. Swiped 21 bases with Gwinnett, tops on the Club and sixth-most among all Braves farmhands. Posted a team-best 18-game hitting streak from 4/17-5/21, during which he hit .380 (27-for-71) with three triples and 12 runs. The streak tied for the second longest such streak in the International League in 2013. In 2012, he set the franchise record with a 22-game hitting streak. Reached base in a team-high 25 consecutive games from 6/25-8/26, logging 31 hits in 103 at-bats for a .301 batting average over that span. Collected his 1,000th career minor league hit on 8/25 at Columbus against his former team. Was on the Opening Day roster for the first time in his career before being optioned to Gwinnett (AAA) on April 10. Was recalled on Sept. 1 for his fourth time (also recalled May 29, optioned June 10; recalled July 23, optioned July 31)...Was named International League Batting Champion on Sept. 5 after hitting .314 (108-for-344) in 88 games. Major League roster after having his contract purchased on 7/29. Made his ML debut that night and notched
his first career hit and RBI, while starting in centerfield and batting in the #1 spot in the lineup...In his first 17 games with Atlanta, hit .403 (25-for-62) with one 2B, one 3B, two HR and a .439 OBP...Belted his first career home run on 8/7 at NYM off Dillon Gee...Left 8/22's game in the sixth inning with a slight right ankle sprain; returned on 8/25 and went 4-for-31 (.129)
