Posted a single-season career-high .292 AVG (57-for-195) in 81 games with the Rockies. Also had a career-best .364 SLG and .701 OPS. Batted .317 (46-for-145) from the left side of the plate and hit .220 (11-for-50) against left-handed pitching. Made 45 starts, including 28 at SS, 16 at 2B, and 1 at 3B…Also appeared in 2 games in LF, his first OF experience in the majors. Hit .293 on the road and .291 at home. Posted a .351 AVG (13-for-37) in games he did not start…Went 7-for-15 (.467) as a pinch-hitter. Had single-month highs with 17 games and 52 PA in June, and hit .292 (14-for-48) in the month. Batted .312 (44-for-141) over his final 57 games of the year beginning on 6/4, including a .314 clip (22-for-70) after the All-Star break.
2012
Was a member of the Rockies Major League roster for all of 2012, the second-straight season he spent the full season
in the Majors...has now been a member of the Rox Opening Day roster twice (2011-12). Saw playing time at multiple positions, including second base (19 games, 12 starts), third base (13 games, 9 starts) and
shortstop (42 games, 34 starts) for the third-straight season. Herrera saw his most extended time at shortstop in the Majors in 2012, as he had appeared in just nine games at short
prior to this season. Started and finished the season strong...hit .290 (9-for-31) with 1 double, 1 home run and 6 runs in April...then hit .325
(13-for-40) with 3 doubles in September/October. Hit .330 (31-for-94) against the NL West and just .214 (28-for-131) against the rest of the league. The switch-hitter batted .272 (47-for-173) from the left side and .231 (12-for-52) from the right side in 2012...in his career
owns a slightly higher average from the left side (.260), than the right side (.255). Spent time on the disabled list twice in 2012, from 5/23-6/22 with a strained right hamstring and 7/17-31 with a left wrist
infection...has spent over a month on the DL in each of the last two seasons.
2011
Spent the entire 2011 season in the Majors with Colorado for the first time in his career...however, spent the final month
on the disabled list after suffering a fractured right index finger on 9/6...Saw time at second base, third base and shortstop for the Rockies in 2011, though he received 55 of his 62 starts in
2011 at second base...in his Major League career, Herrera has now played 140 games at second base, 25 games at
third base and 30 games at shortstop...Received the majority of the Rockies starts at second base in the season's first two months and batted a combined .273
(43-for-157) with 5 doubles, a triple, 2 home runs, 9 RBI and 17 runs scored through May...was relegated to more of a
utility role following the Rockies acquisition of Mark Ellis on 6/30...Herrera posted a .992 fielding percentage in his 62 games at second base this season, committing just 2 errors in 247
total chances...committed just three errors between the three positions he played in 2011...Three home runs in 2011 are new career-high...two of the home runs came against the New York Mets (3-run shot 4/14

club...made his Major League debut that day at San Francisco, going 0-for-2 with a walk while starting at
second base...hit .230 (14-for-61) in 28 games with the Rockies from 4/30-6/12...the switch-hitter hit .200
(4-for-20) vs. left-handed pitching and .244 (10-for-41) vs. right-handers...hit .313 (5-for-16) with runners in
scoring position...had his 2nd career multi-hit game 5/30 at CHC, including his only triple of the season...
was optioned back to Colorado Springs 6/15 and would spend the rest of the season there...finished

Tulsa's everyday shortstop, Herrera batted .257 (131-for-509) with 24 doubles, four triples, three home
runs, 40 RBI and 65 runs scored in 131 games in his first full season at the Double-A level...also went 18-
for-20 in stolen base attempts and recorded a team-high 17 sacrifice hits...posted a .964 fielding percentage
(22 e/614 tc)...was named to the Texas mid-season All-Star team...started at shortstop and batted
leadoff for the Texas All-Stars on June 26 at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi, Texas...went 0-for-2 in
the game...batted .337 (33-for-98) in the month of April...his average never reached the .300 mark in any
other month...recorded 33 multi-hit games, including a season-high four hits on four occasions...went 4-for-4
with three doubles and three runs scored on June 6 at Springfield...played for Caribes in the Venezuelan Winter

127 games for Modesto in the Cal League...established career highs in nearly every category......ranked

leaders in average (4th) and steals (5th)...led all Nuts with 87 runs scored and 171 hits, ranking
among club leaders in total bases (2nd, 208), RBI (T2nd), sacrifice hits (2nd, 13), and walks (2nd, 58)...had
603 total chances at shortstop, second-highest total in the league...majority of at-bats came in top three spots in
Modesto lineup...his RBI total increased every month during the season...named organization Player of the
Month for June...hit .317 (116-for-366) vs. right-handers, .289 (35-for-121) vs. lefties...hit .329 (54-for-164)
with RISP, including .400 (8-for-20) with bases loaded...did not hit first homer until June 12, then hit long

In his first season in the States, hit .308 in 39 games for Casper...batted .339 (40-for-118) over
first 30 games through July 21...did not play for a month after going 1-for-2 on July 21 at Ogden, then went
just 9-for-41 (.220) in nine games after return in late August...was successful in each of final nine steal attempts.

After signing with the Rockies in April, spent first professional season in the Dominican Summer
League...hit .300 with 10 doubles and 22 RBI in 61 games...posted 23 steals in 29 attempts.
