Went 3-5 with a 4.38 ERA in 32 games (13 starts) in his first Major League season after the Mets selected him in the Rule 5 draft and traded him to Los Angeles...became just the second Dodger Rule 5 player to stick with the big league team for the entire season, joining D.J. Houlton in 2005 ... prior to this season, had played just two games above the Single-A level ... Tossed 1.0 scoreless inning of relief on April 5 at Pittsburgh for his Major League debut ... Picked up the first win of his career on April 24 at Washington, tossing 2.2 innings of scoreless relief in the Dodgers' 4-3 win in 13 innings ... won his first three decisions of the season before dropping his final five ... Excelled as a reliever, going 1-0 with a 2.06 ERA (8 ER/35.0 IP) and limiting opposing hitters to a .237 average (31-for-131) in 19 appearances ... pitched 2.0 or more innings of relief 13 times, posting a 0.98 ERA (3 ER/27.2 IP) in those outings ... struck out 23, while walking just nine out of the bullpen ... Went 2-5 with a 5.91 ERA (35 ER/53.1 IP) in his 13 starts ... managed a .306 opponents' batting average (68-for-222) and surrendered 12 home runs in the starting role ... Struck out a season-high six batters and threw a career-high 88 pitches in his Aug. 20 start against the Reds ... tossed a career-high 6.0 innings in a June 7 victory over the Cardinals ... Was at his best in pressure situations, limiting opposing hitters to a .222 average with runners in scoring position (18-for-81) and holding the opposition hitless with the bases loaded (0-for-6) ... Ranked second on the club and tied for 15th in the National League with eight hit batsmen despite only pitching 88.1 innings ... Got off to hot start in April and May, going 2-0 with a 2.20 ERA (7 ER/28.2 IP) and limiting opponents to a .236 average (25-for-106) over 13 games (two starts) ... Was placed on the disabled list June 19 with a blister on his right index finger ... missed 14 games and was activated on July 7 ... Made the club after posting a 1.69 ERA with a .158 opponents' batting average (9-for-57) in 19 Spring Training games (one start.

Began season with Single-A Clearwater, going 5-6 with two saves and a 3.73 ERA (34 ER/82.0 IP) in 35 games (seven starts)... struck out 71, while walking only 27...As a starter, went 3-3 with a 2.82 ERA (12 ER/38.1 IP) in seven starts...tossed a seveninning complete-game shutout in the first game of a doubleheader on April 16 vs. Lakeland (Tigers), striking out four and allowing just three hits...Limited opponents to a .237 (71-for-299) batting average...Promoted to Double-A Reading on September 2, allowing three runs in 7.1 innings (3.68 ERA) in two games (one start)...Following the season, played for the Bravos de Margarita of the Venezuelan Winter League
