2010

Split the season between double-A Harrisburg and triple-A Syracuse in the Washington Nationals system, combining to go 1-2 with five saves and a 3.11 ERA (46.1 IP/16 ER) in 40 games ... Began the year with Harrisburgh, posting no record with four saves in four opportunities with a 0.51 ERA (17.2 IP/1 ER) in his first 14 games ... Promoted to Syracuse on May 18, posting a 1-1 record and 4.91 ERA in 23 appearances. Recorded at least one strikeout in 17 of his 23 games, with nine being multi-strikeout affairs ... Earned his only win on June 12 at Charlotte, tossing 1.1 scoreless innings ... On July 21 at Norfolk, recorded five of six outs by strikeout to mark a season-high ... Landed on the Disabled List on July 26 with a left elbow injury, missing a total of 35 days. Reinstated on August 30 and was transferred back to Harrisburg, where he ended the season with three appearances ... Following the season, made 24 appearances with Leones del Caracas in the Venezuelan Winter League. Did not record a decision while posting a 2.66 ERA (20.1 IP/6 ER).

2009

In 5th pro season, saw first career big league action-pitching in 4 games with Washington-after being acquired off waivers from LAD on September 2 as part of August 30 deal that sent Ronnie Belliard to the Dodgers...made MLB debut, September 5 vs. Florida...following the season, pitched for Leones de Caracas in the Venezuelan Winter League.
In Minor Leagues: One of the most effective relievers in the Double-A Southern League in '09, posted a 2.04 ERA and .191 batting average against in 47 appearances with Chattanooga....ranked among SL pitchers (min. 50.0 IP) in ERA (6th) and K's per 9.0 innings (8th, 9.5)...stranded 17 of 21 inherited runners...went 4-for-4 in save opportunities.

2008

Led the Dodger minor league system with 150 strikeouts in a combined 116.0 innings with Single-A Great Lakes and Single-A Inland Empire...his 2.79 ERA led all Dodger full-season minor leaguers...Went 6-3 with a 1.85 ERA in 17 games (12 starts) with Great Lakes and 3-0 with a 4.70 ERA in seven starts with Inland Empire....Began the year as a reliever with Great Lakes, and was converted to a starter in mid-May...with Great Lakes, went 1-0 with a 2.31 ERA (3 ER/11.2 IP) in five relief appearances before going 5-3 with a 1.77 ERA (13 ER/66.0 IP) in 12 starts...Struck out a professional-high 12 in 6.0 innings July 5 at Lansing...also had 10 strikeouts July 30 vs. Lancaster and 11 punchouts Aug. 24 vs. Rancho Cucamonga...With Inland Empire, left-handed batters hit .410 (16-for-39) against him while right-handed hitters batted .248 (28-for-113)...Pitched for Caracas of the Venezuelan Winter League following the season

Began season with Single-A Lexington and was reassigned to short-season Tri-City on July 10...pitched winter ball, going 1-0 with one save and 3.86 ERA in 16 appearances with Caracas in the Venezuelan Winter League.

2006

Went 4-0 with 8 saves (8-for-8 in save opps) and 0.92 ERA in 21 relief appearances with short-season Tri-City... averaged 13.50 strikeouts per 9.0 innings and posted a .112 BAA...did not allow a hit with runners in scoring position (0-for-25)...made 5 appearances with Caracas in the Venezuelan Winter League.

2005

During first year of pro ball in the U.S., posted .189 batting average against while playing with Greeneville of the Rookie-level Appalachian League...fanned 53 in 32.1 innings (14.8 Ks' per 9.0 innings).

Pitched third season with with Venoco in the Venezuelan Summer League.

2003

Pitched second season with with Venoco in the Venezuelan Summer League. Pitched exclusively as starter and went 3-1 with 1.39 ERA in 12 starts en route to being named Team MVP.
