Spent the majority of the season with double-A Jacksonville where he went 5-3 with a 2.70 ERA
and two saves in 46 appearances. Made three trips to the Major League club, appearing in five
games with a 10.80 ERA...In his first 11 games, went 1-2 with one save and a 9.00 ERA (12.0 IP/12 ER). From that point on,
went 4-1 with one save and a 1.13 ERA (48.0 IP/6 ER) over his final 35 games...Earned first win of the season on April 26 at Montgomery, allowing one hit in his 1.0 inning. After
two consecutive losses, April 27 at Montgomery and May 7 at Chattanooga, rattled off four
straight wins...Was two-of-two in save opportunities, earning saves on April 15 vs. West Tennessee and August
19 vs. Carolina...Tossed a season-best 3.0 scoreless innings on May 19 at Carolina...In nine June appearances, was 1-0 with a 0.71 ERA (12.2 IP/1 ER). Followed June with a 1.50 ERA
(6.0 IP/1 ER) in five July games and a 1.53 ERA (17.2 IP/3 ER) in 13 August appearances...Earned first Major League recall on May 23, making one appearance before being optioned.
Surrendered one run over 2.0 innings in his ML debut on May 26 at Philadelphia...Recalled again on June 24 and made three appearances before landing on the 15-day Disabled List with a right shoulder sprain
on July 4. He was recalled from rehab and reinstated from the DL on July 26...Recalled for the third time on August 13, appearing in that night's game against Houston (1.0 ip, 2 h, r, er, 2 bb) before being
optioned after the game...Appeared in two games for Team Canada in the World Baseball Classic, tossing 1.2 scoreless innings.

header, where he allowed one hit with one strikeout over
1.2 innings...26 of his 57 outings spanned more than 1.0 inning, with 14
appearances at 2.0-or-more...Was 4-3 with a 3.86 ERA (37.1 IP/16 ER) in 26 home games, while
going 2-4 with 3.44 ERA (36.2 IP/14 ER) and one save in 31 road
contests...Earned three wins in April, compared to one loss, while posting
a 2.13 ERA (12.2 IP/3 ER) in 12 games...Finished the season by going 1-1 with 2.49 ERA (25.1 IP/7 ER) in
