Jeffrey Burton Clement (pronounced CLEM-int)...Wife's name is Lindsay...Two sons; Jake (4/21/09) and Benjamin (11/30/10)...Is a 2002 graduate of Marshalltown (IA) High School...Set national high school record with 75 career home runs...Led Marshalltown to the 2004 4-A state championship...Also played for the 1996 Marshalltown team in the Little League World Series...Attended the University of Southern California, where he won the 2005 Johnny Bench Award as the nation's top catcher...Was also a finalist for Golden Spikes Award in 2005...Named All-Pac 10 three consecutive seasons (2003-05)...Was a member of the 2003 and 2004 U.S. National team; his team won the Gold Medal at the FISU World University Baseball Championships in Taiwan in 2004...Was named Most Valuable Player for Team USA during the 33rd annual USA vs. Japan Collegiate All-Star Series in Japan in 2004.
