spent the majority of the season with class aaa Memphis in the st. louis organization, going 1-6 with a 2.92 era (17 er/52.1 ip) and 12 saves in 46 games ... began the season with the redbirds and was recalled by st. louis on 4/5 ... went 0-0 with a 5.63 era (15 er/24.0 ip) in 15 games with the cardinals ... 11 of his 15 runs allowed came in three outings ... made three appearances with the cardinals (1 er/3.0 ip) before being optioned on 4/13 ... was recalled for the second time on 5/28 and was placed on the disabled list with a bruised right thumb on 6/1 ... made one rehab appearance with Memphis before being reinstated from the dl and optioned to the redbirds on 6/18 ... was recalled for the fi nal time on 9/2 ... was claimed by Toronto off waivers from St. Louis on 11/3 and then claimed by the white sox on 11/17 (acquisition recommended by gary pellant and Bill scherrer) ... posted a 5.59 era (6 er/9.2 ip) in nine games with estrellas of the dominican winter league.
2007
Was one of final players re-assigned to minor-league camp (3/28) during spring training as he produced a 0.96 spring ERA (0-0, 2 saves) in nine games. Opened the year with Triple-A Memphis. Was 2-3 with one save and 2.72 ERA in 30 games (39.2 IP) for the Redbirds. Was purchased from Memphis on 4/27 and made his Major League debut that night vs. CHI, pitching 1.0 scoreless inning. Allowed 2-run HR in the 7th on 6/2 at HOU (C. Lee) - his 1st HR allowed on the season. Was optioned to Memphis on 6/16 after allowing runs in 7 of his first 9 ML outings. Was recalled from Triple-A Memphis prior to 7/22 game at Atlanta. Worked two scoreless innings 7/25 vs. CHI allowing a double each frame for his only blemish. Last option to Memphis came prior to Game 1 of a DH on 7/28 vs. MIL (Falkenborg recalled). Was 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA in 13 Aug. outings at Memphis, fanning 13 in 16.0 IP. Recalled from Memphis on 9/1 and pitched a career-high 4.1 IP on 9/3, blanking PIT for final innings of an 11-0 loss. Fanned J. Bay with bases-loaded in 2nd inn. on 9/6 vs. PIT & was credited with his 2nd win. Worked out of a pair of jams, stranding 4, in his 2.0 scoreless IP 9/16 vs. CHI. Pitched just 0.1 of an inning on 9/23 vs. HOU, but picked up his 3rd win when St. Louis came back with three runs in the bottom of the 9th for a 4-3 win. Earned his first Hold on 9/30 at PIT with a scoreless IP.
2006
Played at Triple-A Oklahoma in the Texas organization...Made 26 appearances, all in relief, in an injury-plagued year...Allowed just one earned run in his first five appearances over 9.1 innings...Went 1-1, 4.76 ERA in his first 10 games (17.0 IP) before being placed on the disabled list on May 12 (right hand contusion)...Won two games in June and picked up his lone save of the season on 6/21 with a perfect inning of relief...Returned to the DL on 7/1-14 (right elbow strain)...After his return from the DL made four additional appearances and went 1-0 allowing just one earned run before his final trip to the DL on 7/31 where he remained through the end of the season (right elbow strain)...Played in the Dominican Winter League for team Estrellas...Went 1-1 with a 3.86 ERA in five games (7.0 IP/3 ER).
2005
Split the season between Frisco (AA) and Oklahoma (AAA), combining to go 4-6, 3.61 (37 ER/92.1 IP) with five saves and 76 strikeouts in 43 games/five starts...started the season at Frisco, posting no record with a 3.46 ERA with two saves and 12 strikeouts in six relief appearances...recorded a strikeout in all six Frisco appearances, including Double-A high three K's in last Frisco outing on 4/26 at Corpus Christi...promoted to Oklahoma on 4/28...started in the RedHawks bullpen, going 2-6, 4.08 (24 ER/53.0 IP) in 32 relief appearances...joined Oklahoma rotation on 8/17 and went 2-0, 2.73 (8 ER/26.1 IP) in five starts to finish the season...earned first Triple-A win on 5/14 at Fresno, tossing 4.0 scoreless innings...tossed season-high 19.2 consecutive scoreless innings over 10 outings from 5/14-6/19...tallied two wins and two saves during scoreless inning streak...recorded season-high seven strikeouts in 4.0 innings on 9/5 vs. Omaha...held left-handers to a .226 (26-115) average...posted a 2.19 ERA (3 ER/12.1 IP) over seven relief appearances in July...made lone postseason appearance in start on 9/10 at Nashville, allowing three earned runs in 4.1 innings.

Spent the entire season at Frisco (AA)...led staff in strikeouts (101), innings pitched (129.0), starts (21) and walks (67)...was 3-5, 4.53 (65 ER/129.0) in 26 games/21 starts...led Texas League with 12 wild pitches and ranked third in the circuit with 67 walks...won three of last four decisions after starting the season 0-4...recorded season high eight strikeouts on 5/6 vs. El Paso...notched 15 outings of 5.0 innings or more, including season-high 7.0 innings twice...did not allow an earned run in 7.0 innings to earn the win on 6/12 at San Antonio...was 2-1, 2.41 (9 ER/33.2 IP) in six starts in June...recorded five or more strikeouts 11 times, including five straight starts from 5/6-27...made only postseason appearance for the RoughRiders in Game 2 of the Texas League Championship Series, on 9/14 vs. Round Rock, earning a win with 7.0 shutout innings and 12 strikeouts.

Played the entire year at Stockton (A) where he was 6- 5, 4.73 ERA with two saves in 34 appearances/18 starts...named Rangers Minor League Pitcher of the Month in April, going 2-0, 2.42 with 24 strikeouts in 26.0 innings over six appearances...led the staff in innings pitched, tied for club lead in starts, ranked 2nd in strikeouts (101) and 4th in appearances...was 6-3, 3.25 as a starter and 0-2, 7.06 as a reliever...won first four decisions of the season...struck out a season-high seven on 4/10 at Bakersfield...went 0-2, 2.25 in two postseason starts.

Spent the entire year with Savannah (Class-A)...tied for a team lead with 16 starts...led the Sand Gnats in innings (121.0) and strikeouts (116)...won his last two decisions, striking out a season-high seven batters in each game.

Opened year with Pulaski (Appalachian League) and lost three of his four starts before joining Gulf Coast...won each of first two decisions with Gulf Coast, including 7.0-inning CG SHO on 7/24 at Reds.
