Bradley Mark Emaus
Bradley Mark Emaus majored in media arts and advertising at Tulane University...His father, Mark, played baseball at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University...Was a four-year letterman at East Coweta High School in Georgia...Helped guide the Indians to a combined 92-25 record in four years, with four playoff appearances and a state runner-up finish as a junior...Named a Street and Smith All-American in 2004...Was drafted in the 18th round of the 2004 draft by the Atlanta Braves but did not sign...Named team MVP, Silver Slugger and Gold Glove winner as a senior after hitting .509 with eight home runs, 60 RBI and 40 stolen bases...As a junior, named Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Newman Times Herald Player of the Year and earned a spot on the AFLAC All-America team after hitting .490 with 14 home runs and a 1.100 slugging percentage...Claimed a pair of gold medals with the AAU Junior Olympics and was named MVP of the CABA World Series.

Split the season between New Hampshire (AA) of the Eastern League and Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League...Combined to hit 15 home runs, drive in 75 runs and walk 81 times, all career-bests...The 75 RBI were the fifth most by a Blue Jays minor leaguer in 2010...Started the year with the Fisher Cats, making starts at second base (22) and third base (11) and did not make an error...He also acted as the designated hitter in five games...Made his first start for Las Vegas on June 1...Started nine games at second base and 75 at third...Was the designated hitter twice...Hit .321 (79-246) against righthanders for the 51s...Hit nine of his 10 Triple-A home runs at home...Also hit .338 (51-151) at home...Had an eight-game hitting streak from July 1-July 8, going 11-29 (.379).
2009
In his first season at the AA level posted 40 extra base hits... CATS LEADER: Led the FisherCats in games played (137), at-bats (505), runs (67), hits (128), and was 2nd in RBI (67)... BIG START/FINISH: Over the course of April, May and September, posted a .293 average with 15 doubles, one triple, six home runs and 35 RBI in 56 games... Started the season with six hits in his first eight at-bats, incluing four doubles and seven RBI... ONE AT A TIME: From July 30-Aug. 12 recorded a hit in 12 consecutive games, although batted only .298 during the streak, with single hits in 10 of the contests... IN THE FIELD: Appeared in 132 games at second base, making 16 errors in 695 chances for a .977 fielding percentage.
2008
Played the entire year with Dunedin of the Florida State League (A) in his 2nd professional season... In 124 games, batted .302 (143-473) with 49 extra base hits (34-2B, 3-3B, 12-HR) & drove in 71 runs... Led the Florida State League in runs scored with 87... Led Dunedin in games (124), at bats (473), hits (143), total bases (219), doubles (34), walks (60) & OBP (.380)... Named a Florida State League Post-Season All-Star... Named the Organizational Player of the Month for August where he hit .398 (39-98) with nine doubles, five home runs & had 16 RBI... In 19 games from May 9-30, hit .368 (28-76) with 14 runs scored & 11 RBI over that stretch... Scored eight times over a period of three games from July 3-5... Had a 15-game hit streak to close out the season from Aug. 15-30... Batted .404 (21-52) with three home runs and nine RBI over that span... Appeared in 96 games at second base & posted a fielding % of .980 (10 errors in 505 total chances)... Played 14 games at third base & owned a .915 fielding % (four errors in 47 total chances).
2007
In his first professional season, batted .228 (31-136) with two home runs and 14 RBI as a member of the Auburn Doubledays (A) of the New York Penn League... Hit his first professional home run on July 3 vs. Mahoning Valley... Had a season-high nine-game hit streak from Aug. 24-Sept. 1... Over that span, batted .353 (12-34) with six runs scored.
