Made the Phillies as a non-roster invitee...His win on 4/26 at Arizona was his first since 9/6/10 vs KC, a span of 40 ML appearances (including 4 starts)..Was removed after straining his right quad running to 1st base on 5/31 and placed on the 15-day DL the next day...Was outrighted to Lehigh Valley (AAA) on 7/25.

Began the season with Colorado Springs (AAA)...Shuttled between the rotation and the bullpen...Walked 1 or none in 9 of 17 starts (53%)...Had his contract selected by COL on 8/8...Made 4 starts (0-4, 6.86 ERA) before moving to the bullpen.
