Collected his first big league hit on Sept. 16, a solo home run off Jonathan Sanchez at San Francisco ... homered again on Sept. 18 and became the first Los Angeles Dodger to have both of his first career hits be home runs (Source: Retrosheet.org) ... Picked up the first RBI of his career with a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning on Sept. 12 ... went 2-for-4 on Sept. 26 at Arizona for the first multi-hit game of his career ... Named the third baseman on the All-Pacific Coast League Team and voted as the Isotopes' MVP by his fellow players and coaches, batting .315 with 23 home runs and 87 RBI in 127 games ... led all Dodger minor leaguers with 97 runs ... Selected as the third baseman on the Topps Triple-A All-Star Team ... Ranked ninth in the PCL in batting average and was second on the team in home runs and RBI behind John Lindsey ... selected as the PCL Batter of the Week for the week of Aug. 29 after hitting .517 (15-for-29) with four home runs and nine RBI in seven games ... Finished in the top 10 in the PCL in batting average, runs (97, T-2nd), hits (159, 4th), extra-base hits (63, 5th) and doubles (38, 4th) ... led the league's third basemen with a .958 fielding percentage ... In his second season at Double-A, led Chattanooga with 13 homers and 63 RBI in 131 games...Batted .297 (51-for-172) in 50 games after the All-Star break after hitting just .208 (59-for-284) in his first 83 games...Hit safely in 23 of his last 27 games, batting .323 (31-for-96) with 10 doubles and 18 RBI in that span...Won the August/September Dodger Pride Award for Chattanooga, batting .306 with two homers and 18 RBI in 29 August games...Following the season, played for Peoria of the the Arizona Fall League and was named to the Top Prospects Team, tying for the league lead with 10 doubles and 16 extra-base hits...won AFL's Dernell Stenson Sportsmanship Award, which goes to the player who brings the characteristics that Stenson brought to the ballpark everyday: A solid work ethic, great sportsmanship and a humble personality.
