Full name is Bronson Kiheimahanaomauiakeo Sardinha...graduated from Kamehameha High School in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2001...has two older brothers currently playing professional baseball: Dane, a catcher in the Detroit Tigers' minor-league system, and Duke, and infielder who played for the Colorado Rockies' Double-A affiliate in 2005.

Split time between Single-A Tampa and Double-A Trenton while making the switch back to the infield...combined to hit .290 (149-for-514) with 8 HR and 62 RBI in 135 games (118 games at third base)...had 42 multi-hit games between his two stops...began his second straight season with Single-A Tampa, hitting .315 (78-for-248) with 2HR and 33 RBI in 63 games (61 starts at third base)...was selected to play in the Florida State League All-Star Game on 6/12...Reached base safely in league-high 46 consecutive games from 4/9-5/29...hit .348 (39-for-112) at home...hit .372 (29-for-78) in the month of April which included a minor-league career-high 19-game hitting streak from 4/9-30...hit .392 (29-for-74) over the stretch with 14R and 14RBI...went on to hit in 27 of 28 games from 4/9-5/8...was transferred to Trenton on 6/21, marking his first stint at the Double-A level...in 72 games to close out the season, hit .267 (71-for-266) with 6HR and 29RBI with the Thunder...played in 57 games at third base, 15 at designated hitter.
