Drew Thomas Anderson...graduated from Kearney (NE) High School and attended the University of Nebraska...in the offseason works with former Major Leaguer Mike Kingery at the Solid Foundation Baseball School in Minnesota, where they provide baseball instruction...if he was not a ballplayer would like to be a sports information director.

2007

Spent most of the season at Class AAA Nashville, where in 108g he hit .273 with 16 stolen bases...from 5/21-6/2 also made 12 apps at Class AA Huntsville...in 120g at the 2 stops combined to hit .291 with 5 HR, 47rbi and 17 steals...while with Huntsville produced a pair of 4-hit games, on 5/26 at Mobile and 5/30 vs Montgomery...on 1/18/08 was claimed off waivers by the Reds.

2006

Spent most of the season at Class AA Huntsville, where he batted .291 with 6 hr, 43rbi and 17 stolen bases in 108 apps...ranked sixth in the Southern League in batting average...on 8/19 was transferred to Class AAA Nashville and batted .333 with 1hr, 9rbi and 3 stolen bases in 16g...in 124g at the 2 stops combined to hit .297 with 7hr, 52rbi and 20 steals...made his Major League debut with 9 apps for the Brewers...was promoted on 9/11...that day at Pit made his big league debut and as a pinch hitter was struck out by Salomon Torres to end the game...made his only start of the season on 9/21 vs SF, played left field and went 1-for-4 with a walk and a pair of runs scored...in that start recorded his first career hit, a second-inning single off Matt Morris... also entered 5g as a pinch hitter and 3g as a pinch runner...on 9/18 vs StL scored his first career run on Tony Graffanino's walkoff RBI-single in the ninth inning...entered that game as a pinch runner for Damian Miller.

2005

Spent the season at Class A Brevard County and in 129g hit .311 with 6hr, 62rbi and 19 stolen bases... led the Florida State League in hits (158) and ranked among the league leaders in at bats (508, 2nd), batting average (.311, 4th) and triples (7, 5th)...had a pair of 4-hit games, on 4/20 vs St. Lucie and 5/23 at Lakeland... on 7/4 at Daytona collected a season-best 5rbi...from 7/7-7/29 produced a 20-game hitting streak (31-81, .383, 2hr, 13rbi).

2004

Batted .307 with 5 HR, 59 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 123 games at Class-A Beloit...Ranked eighth in the Midwest League in batting average.

2003

Spent his first professional season at Rookie Helena, where he batted .318 with 2 HR, 38 RBI and 9 stolen bases in 61 games...Ranked fifth in the Pioneer League in on-base pct. (.420)...Belted a pair of homers, along with a season-high 5 RBI, on 8/31 vs. Missoula.
