Hard-throwing right-hander was recalled from triple-A Fresno on Sept. 2...made his ML debut the following day, hitting 100mph on the radar gun consistently...Spent nine seasons in the minor leagues with the Royals, Braves, Pirates and Giants...Spent the entire year at triple-A Fresno, going 4-3 with a 3.59 ERA in a career-high 47 games...Struck out 68 batters in 52.2 innings of work with the Grizzlies...Allowed just one of his 17 inherited runners to score.
2013
Spent the entire season with triple-A Indianapolis and went 4-2 with a 4.58 ERA (27er, 53.0ip) in 44 appearances. His 44 appearances were a career-high and ranked as the second most on the team. Right-handed batters were just 21-for-105 (.200) off him, while lefties hit .319 (30-for-94). Tossed 14.1-scoreless innings over 10 games from May 26-June 23. Threw 2.0-scoreless innings and recorded his first career save on May 28. Finished 4-for-8 in save opportunities.
2012
Started the 2012 season with triple-A Gwinnett and made eight appearances (4 starts) before being placed on the disabled list on May 12, 2012 with an injured right hand, which forced him to miss the next 10 weeks of the season.
2011
Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Gwinnett, but did make one start for Double-A Mississippi. Combined to go 5-9 with a 5.14 ERA between the two Clubs...Made 19 starts for the G-Braves, going 5-8 with a 5.13 ERA...Posted 7.0-shutout innings, allowing just three hits in his first win of the season on 6/7 at TOL...Collected a season-high eight strikeouts in 6.0 IP in a no-decision on 7/15 vs. NOR...His lone start for the M-Braves came on 5/12 at JXN...Made two relief appearances for the Surprise Saguaros of the Arizona Fall League: 0-0, 3.38, 2.2 IP.
