Cishek of MIA (94.4, 34-36) among relievers with at least 30-save opportunities. His 94.4 save percentage ranked as the highest for any one season in club history…The previous team record was held by Tom Henke set in 1992 (91.9 save percentage, 34-37). Retired 25 consecutive batters from April 13-May 7, which is T-2nd longest streak in club history (Dave Stieb, retired 26 straight in 1989). Has converted 56 of 60 save opportunities (93.3percent) since taking over as the closer on May 9, 2012 (4th best save percentage in Majors over that period). Ranks 5th on the all-time club saves list with 65. His 34 saves in 2013 ranked T-6th for most in club history in a single season (Henke-1992 & 1987). saves and each of his last six... In his 22 saves did not allow a single run while issuing just two walks and 10 hits... Also

Appeared in 55 games with the Blue Jays all out of the bullpen... JUST WIN BABY: Matched his career high (prev: 2006) with six wins... At 6-0 became only the third Blue Jays pitcher and first since Dennis Lamp (11-0) and Tom Filer (7-0) in 1985 to win at-least six games in a season without a loss... Became the first Blue Jays pitcher to start a season at least
6-0 since John Frascatore in 1999 (went 7-0)... His six wins were tied for the Club lead by a reliever with Shawn Camp and
was T-3rd in the AL... Was 3rd on the Club with seven holds... STREAKING: Had a stretch of 16.2 scoreless innings pitched
from July 26-Aug. 30 which was the longest by any Blue Jays pitcher and a new career high... Posted a record of 4-0 with a
one save and a 1.61 ERA (28.0IP/5ER) in 27 games after the All-Star Break... WHAT A SAVE: Matched his career high as a
reliever with three innings pitched on Aug. 21 at OAK, struck out a career high five as a reliever and did not allow a hit to pick
up his 2nd save of the season... Allowed a run in just nine of his 55 appearances and more than one in only three contests...
HANDLES THE LEFTIES: Held opponents to a .228 average, however LH hitters batted only .216 with only six extra base
hits, all doubles... MINORS: Was optioned to Las Vegas (AAA) on April 8 and appeared in one game with the 51's pitching two
scoreless innings... Was recalled on April 12 and spent the remainder of the season with the Blue Jays.

Recorded the win in three of the Jays first six games of the season becoming only the sixth pitcher in ML history to do so and first since Jose Melendez with SD in 1992... Won back to back games April 8 at TEX and April 9 at BAL becoming the first Blue Jays pitcher since Jesse Carlson Sept. 2 and 3, 2008... His five wins tied for the Club lead by a reliever (Scott Downs)... Struck out multiple batters in 17 of his 56 appearances this season.

the Midwest League All-Star Game, but was promoted to
Dunedin where he posted a 6-1 record with a 2.01 ERA in 10
starts... Named as a Blue Jays Minor League Star of the
Month in June while with Dunedin... Finished the season in
New Hampshire going 3-3 with a 2.93 ERA... Combined to pitch 152.2 innings in 2005, recording 139 strikeouts
against 21 walks... Made 26 starts in 2005, holding the opposition
to three or fewer earned runs in all but two of those
games (and two or less in 20 of 26 starts)... Was selected by
Baseball America as the 6th top prospect in the
organization.
2004
Drafted by the Blue Jays in the fourth round (117th selection overall) of the 2004 First-Year Player Draft... Assigned to Auburn of the NewYork-Penn League (R) after leading UCLA in his senior season in wins (10), starts (17) and ERA (3.16)... Posted a 3-1 record with a 3.48 ERA in his
debut season as a pro, with 45 strikeouts and 10 walks...
Threw 7.0 shutout innings and limited Batavia to three hits in
collecting the win in his first professional start on July 12.
